TOWN OF BLADENSBURG
COUNCIL MEETING
March 14, 2005

I. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor McGrory called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. with Council Members Ficklin, James and Watson present. Council Member Hoffman was excused.

II. OPENING PRAYER: An opening prayer was giving.

III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The February Council Meeting minutes were approved as presented.

V. MAYOR & COUNCIL REPORTS: Council, followed by the Mayor, gave reports on past months activities, including meetings attended.

VI. STAFF REPORTS: Management Staff gave updates on the previous months activities. (Full reports are available at the Town Office.)

VII. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

Approval of Job Descriptions: Mayor and Council unanimously approved the job description for the Town Administrator

Resolution in Support of Addition to Elizabeth Seton High School: Mayor and Council unanimously approved the Resolution 1-2005.

Ordinance 1-2005: To Amend Ordinance 3-2004: Adoption of FY05 Budget and Tax Rate: Ordinance 1-2005 was introduced with a first reading. The second reading and vote will occur during the April Council Meeting.

VIII. NEW BUSINESS: There was no new business.

IX. PUBLIC COMMENT: Mayor McGrory entertained comments from the audience.

X. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, it was moved, seconded and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting.
